How to Build a Brand From a Book – Licensing Basics Seminar @ LBF online
Ex-marketing manager of Licensing International UK and CEO of imaginators.tv Ryan Beaird will be chairing and presenting a basics of licensing seminar for London Book Fair’s online insights seminar on the 22nd June from 13:25pm to 14:25pm
A perfect seminar for publishers wanting to get into licensing or authors wanting to understand how the licensing industry operates and how to build a brand from their works. We will hear from Ryan on the basics of licensing sharing his seven years experience of running the UK office of the association, followed by a presentation from Thomas Merrington Creative Director of Penguin Ventures who will talk about Peter Rabbits live exhibitions.
Following the presentations there will be a high profile live Q&A session – panellists include Thomas Merrington (Penguin Ventures), Rob Wijeratna joint MD of (Rocket Licensing) who will share insights into the late Eric Carles Hungry Caterpillar merchandise. Rebecca French Head of Licensing (Roald Dahl company) on managing the estates works for consumer products and finally Lauren Sizeland Director of Licensing of the (V&A), who will tell us about the V&A’s Alice in Wonderland exhibition and their award winning shop.
