Sunny Bunnies licensed to new SVOD platform
The London-based distributor Media IM and KidsBeeTV recently sealed a deal to
license the five seasons of the preschool show Sunny Bunnies for the kids’ app.
Sunny Bunnies is a non-dialogue comedy show designed for all family co-viewing to
laugh out loud together. The show promotes discovery, self-expression and
friendship and is perfectly aligned with KidsBeeTV’s values of diversity and positive
education.
The 3D-animated series aimed at three to six-year-olds was produced by Belarus’s
Digital Light Studio. It started in 2015 on YouTube and is today a worldwide
phenomenon. Between traditional TV broadcasters and OTT platforms, Sunny
Bunnies is in more than 160 countries. The YouTube audience alone counts more
than 2.4 million subscribers and over 3 billion views.
Sunny Bunnies are five cheerful fluffy balls of light discovering the world, just like an
enthusiastic small child. They are so eager to try new things that they end up getting
into trouble all the time, but working together, they find a way out to a happy ending.

Licensing this property from Media IM is one more step forward in the strategy
followed by the SVOD platform, which is renewing its catalog to answer to a variety
of kids’ interests and to meet the demands of a growing worldwide community of
parents.
English-speaking countries (especially the USA, UK, Canada, and South Africa), and
the Middle East are the two main markets of KidsBeeTV, but it has customers
worldwide in more than 200 countries.
The list of recent license deals includes Millimages (Molang, Mouk, Louie, Pipi,
Pupu & Rosemary, and Truck Games), BRB International (Bernard and Zoobabu),
and Atem Entertainment (Space Yoghurt). Some families of YouTubers, like
HZHtube Kids Fun and The Awesome Moore Family are also making their way into
the app. Unlike other apps and platforms, there are no videos with unboxings or
product placement – only positive meaningful messages are allowed to pass
KidsBeeTV filters conducted by teachers.
KidsBeeTV, owned by the edtech Magikbee, features now more than 500 hours of
video and is adding more IPs on a monthly basis.
