New Activations for 9 Story’s Karma’s World

9 Story Media Group and Karma’s World Entertainment’s have executed a number of exciting UK-based activations in support of their hit Netflix series Karma’s World, which first premiered in 2021 and has exploded in popularity since its release. The show follows 10-year-old aspiring rapper Karma Grant as she uses her talent and heart to inspire her friends, family, and community.

Developed by 9 Story Media Group and inspired by Executive Producer Chris “Ludacris’ Bridges, Karma’s World has released three seasons of content since its premier, earning 3 NAACP Award nominations, a 2022 Humanitas Prize nomination for head writer Halcyon Person & writer Kellie R. Griffin, and winning a 2022 Rockie Award for Best in Animation, Children (5-10).

9 Story Brands has also established partnerships with 50+ best-in-class licensees including Mattel, Scholastic, Universal Music Group, Crayola, Panini, Egmont, and more. Karma’s World products are now available at retailers across the United States (Target, Walmart, Amazon), Canada (Toys R Us, Walmart, Amazon, Indigo.com), and the United Kingdom and Ireland

(Smyths, ASDA/George, The Entertainer, Character.com, Very, Matalan), with upcoming lines in Spain (El Cortes Ingles) and Australia (Big W) coming soon. 

It’s been a huge summer for Karma’s World in the UK with a series of with next-level marketing campaigns leading up to the anticipated release of Karma’s World Season 4, premiering September 22, 2022 on Netflix. 

On August 14, Karma’s World sponsored the Cocoa Kid’s Fest Talent competition on the main stage. The winning prize bundle included Karma’s World products and a congratulatory message from Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges.  This year’s Cocoa Kid’s Fest was aimed specifically at celebrating music and creativity with the Black community and attracted 4700 attendees.

On August 28, Karma’s World participated in the Notting Hill Carnival, a large-scale festival celebrating Caribbean culture with over 1 million attendees. Karma’s World had a dedicated activity area at the family play park in Powis Square during Family Day which included a Polaroid self-affirmation wall, a “Where’s Major” Scavenger Hunt along with temporary tattoos and glitter face painting. 

To end the summer, Karma’s World has been visiting Karma fans around the United Kingdom with an interactive bus tour. The Karma’s World Beat Bus has been making stops at select ASDA/George locations for kids to get to know Karma and interact with products and the brand firsthand. The bus is currently on-site at BLE (location D125) for those that want to check it out!
