Cry Babies Reveals First North American Collaboration with Disney

IMC Toys, the company known globally for its Cry Babies line of nurturing dolls that’s been a top seller since 2018, is set to bring some of the most beloved children’s cartoon characters to life with an all-new collaboration. Coming in Spring of 2024, for the first time, top drivers in the baby dolls category will be given a magical makeover as the dolls will be dressed up in all new outfits as Disney inspired characters. Cry Babies Tiny Cuddles will feature Disney’s Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, Daisy Duck and Winnie the Pooh pajamas.

The soft and cuddly themed pajamas bring a whole new look to the dolls, and kids will still enjoy the classic nurturing play pattern that has made Cry Babies a top brand within the Special Feature Nurturing Dolls (SFND) category. For kids 18 months and older, Cry Babies Tiny Cuddles are the softest version of Cry Babies. The six new collectible dolls come with a matching pacifier and cry real tears. The Cry Babies Minnie Mouse and Cry Babies Stitch also cry real tears and make realistic baby sounds when their pacifier is removed. Give the dolls back their pacifier and they’ll stop crying.

This marks the first time that IMC Toys is collaborating with Disney in the North American market after bringing Cry Babies product to life throughout Europe.

“For more than a century, Disney has brought so many wonderful characters and stories to families across the world. We’re delighted to be working with one of the world’s most iconic companies to elevate their beloved tales that have captivated audiences at home with our products,” said Crystal Ganir, VP Global & North America Head of Marketing IMC Toys.

The new Cry Babies Disney inspired dolls will be found in the baby doll aisle at various retailers, starting in Spring 2024. Disney Minnie Mouse will debut first in February and be available at Target while Cry Babies Disney Stitch will follow its debut and be available for consumers to purchase at Walmart, beginning in May.
