Penguin Ventures Announces Tom Fletcher ‘Who’s In Your Book?’ consumer products programme
Penguin Ventures (the licensing team at Penguin Random House Children’s UK) has secured global rights to develop a licensed consumer products programme for Tom Fletcher’s bestselling Puffin picture book series ‘Who’s in Your Book?’, from his manager Rachel Drake and literary agent Steph Thwaites at Curtis Brown. The series features a cast of beloved characters including Monster, Witch, Dragon, Elf and Unicorn.
The ‘Who’s in Your Book?’ series is published by Puffin – an imprint of Penguin Random House Children’s UK – with illustrations by Greg Abbott, and launched in 2018 with There’s a Monster in Your Book. The bestselling mini adventures engage toddlers and parents through interactivity, gently exploring key preschool themes such as bedtime, kindness and inclusion.
Penguin Ventures has launched a dedicated ‘Who’s in Your Book?’ webshop offering print-on-demand gifting with personalized options and featuring favourite characters from the series on consumer products such as apparel, homeware, stationery, gifting and partyware, together with a selection of publishing. A global roll-out of the licensing programme will follow in key international territories for the series, which currently include North America, Australia, China, United Arab Emirates and Europe.

Puffin has published 10 titles in the ‘Who’s in Your Book?’ series in 23 languages and has sold in excess of 2 million copies worldwide, with over 960K copies sold in the UK alone. The latest title in the series, There’s a Dinosaur in Your Book published in September this year, with a new novelty range launching in 2024 with There’s a Little Chick in Your Book. The UK-wide touring theatrical production There’s a Monster in Your Show launched on October 12th, 2023.
