Ed Hardy to launch at JD Sports

Ed Hardy to launch at JD Sports

In a major move for the brand, iconic tattoo-inspired brand Ed Hardy has officially landed at JD Sports, both instore and online. Renowned for its bold and vibrant designs, Ed Hardy brings its signature edgy aesthetic to JD Sports’ diverse offerings, promising a dynamic and fashion-forward fusion of style and sportswear.

Since its inception, Ed Hardy has captivated fashion enthusiasts worldwide with its distinctive blend of tattoo-inspired graphics, intricate embellishments, and streetwear sensibilities. Founded by the legendary tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy, the brand swiftly rose to prominence, becoming synonymous with rebellious self-expression and urban flair. Each Ed Hardy piece exudes an unmistakable aura of individuality and confidence, and brand owner Iconix International is excited to announce its new launch at JD Sports, a retail giant which is redefining street style.

JD Sports is now joining the brand’s roster of first-class retail distribution, in the company of retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Footasylum, Fenwick and Snipes, all standing at the forefront of contemporary streetwear culture, each curating an extensive selection of cutting-edge brands and exclusive collaborations. Boasting a global footprint and a fervent dedication to innovation, JD Sports has emerged as one of the ultimate destinations for fashion-forward enthusiasts seeking the latest trends and must-have styles, making it the natural next step for the Ed Hardy brand. With its trend-forward range of footwear, apparel, and accessories, JD Sports continues to set the pace for urban fashion across Europe and beyond.

The arrival of Ed Hardy at JD Sports marks a pivotal moment for both brands, signalling a dynamic collaboration that promises to redefine the boundaries of contemporary fashion. Building upon its legacy of artistic excellence and cultural relevance, Ed Hardy has in recent years driven a resurgence in popularity via collaborations at the likes of Selfridges, captivating a new generation of trendsetters and influencers with its bold designs and iconic imagery. This strategic partnership with JD Sports further solidifies Ed Hardy’s position as a trailblazer in the ever-evolving landscape of streetwear fashion.

The collection spans across men’s and women’s T-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers, jeans and shorts, utilising the Ed Hardy archive graphics including the iconic ‘Love Kills Slowly’ motif. The pricing starts from £30 for a ribbed tank top up to £105 for embroidered wide fit jeans. A key piece within the collection is the Ed Hardy Love Corset Top, inspired by the lingerie-is-outerwear trend which we saw come through in late 2023, continuing for SS24.

Behind this groundbreaking alliance stands Iconix International, global brand owner and operator of an extensive portfolio of fashion and homeware brands which has recently expanded to include fashion icons Hoodrich and Pony on a global basis.  With a steadfast commitment to innovation and brand development in their approach to driving the global expansion of their iconic fashion brands, Iconix International is behind global fashion successes such as the Starter, Zoo York, Ecko Unltd. and Danskin brands at retailers such as La Rinascente, Snipes, Next, Zara and many more. The Ed Hardy launch at JD Sports is carried out in partnership with Zero21, the European Ed Hardy licensee whose product absolutely typifies the brand’s signature style and DNA and takes it to new heights in line with the latest trends.

‘We are thrilled to see the Ed Hardy brand take this exciting step in Europe after such a stellar performance globally over the past few years – with a roster of game changing collabs due to be announced in the coming months, Ed is undoubtedly one to watch over the coming seasons –
