Animaccord Expands Global Consumer Products Portfolio with New Licensing Deals
Animaccord, the international licensing company behind the animated series Masha and the Bear, continues its worldwide expansion with a series of exciting licensing partnerships. These collaborations, spanning multiple territories, will introduce a wide array of licensed products to consumers, further solidifying Masha and the Bear as a household name across the globe.
In Turkey, Animaccord has partnered with Ocean Four Oyuncak Ith.Ihr.A.S. to launch a new line of licensed wooden games and board games. This collection will be available across various distribution channels, including retail, e-commerce, and toy stores with the expected launch in Q4 2024.
THC Italia SRL, operating under the brand La Casa de las Carcasas, has secured the rights to create a line of Masha and the Bear-themed cell phone accessories. The collection, which includes covers, back skin films, and stickers, will be available in La Casa de las Carcasas stores and online, with a planned launch in Q4 2024 in Italy.
Paper World Ltd in Bulgaria has signed on to produce and distribute a range of Masha and the Bear Kids books – activity books, coloring books, sticker books and story books. These products will be available through retail, e-commerce, and catalogue channels. The launch of a new licensed publishing collected is expected in Q4 2024.
In South America, Animaccord is in the final stages of securing a deal with Tapimovil S.A. This partnership will bring a new licensed BTS collection and toy line to major retailers across Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The BTS collection is set to launch in Q1 2025, with the toy line following shortly thereafter.
Following strong sales performance, Animaccord’s existing partners have also extended their licensing rights for the Masha and the Bear property into new periods.
Ravensburger, one of the world’s leading games and puzzles companies, has renewed its rights to distribute Masha and the Bear games and puzzles in Italy and Portugal.
In the Middle East, Arab Doctors for Trading will continue to sell Masha and the Bear personal care products across the region.
Play Press will continue producing and distributing Masha and the Bear activity books, coloring books, and Magic Pen books in kiosks across Italy.
In India, Athom Trends has extended its rights for the home furnishings category, while Toyzone has renewed its rights for school products.
