Animaccord Secures Extensive Media Deal with France TV

Animaccord has signed a comprehensive media deal with France TV, encompassing a wide range of content from the beloved series Masha and the Bear. This partnership grants France TV and its services, including France 4, France 5, and the OKOO platform, exclusive broadcasting rights in France and French overseas departments and territories.

The contract features three thematic specials, the latest classic seasons, and the spin-off. Among the content released since the beginning of the year are the winter special ‘Masha and the Bear: The Legend of the 12 Months’, the wedding special ‘Masha and the Bear: Say Cheese’, as well as Shorties and Seasons 6-7.

Masha and the Bear, airing weekdays at 8:20 AM on France 5, has secured a 15% market share, making it one of the top children’s titles on France TV for the first half of the year. This morning slot has notably contributed to an increase in the channel’s market share during the first term of 2024, reflecting a significant gain compared to 2023.

Furthermore, Animaccord and France TV are poised to delight the French audience with more surprises, including the release of a brand-new third special expected for Q2 2025. Additional release dates for upcoming content will be announced in due course

About the Specials:

‘Masha and the Bear: The Legend of the 12 Months’ is a Christmas story filled with the enchanting adventures of the beloved Masha and the 12 Months—wizards of nature whose magical powers help to prepare for an unforgettable holiday.

‘Masha and the Bear: Say Cheese’: In this engaging mini-movie, Masha helps Bear pursue his dream of buying a yacht by encouraging him to become a wedding photographer. Together, they navigate the challenges of their new roles, creating memorable and often chaotic wedding scenes. Whether or not Bear earns enough for his yacht, his adventures with Masha ensure he’s far from sad.
