Sunny Side Up Brings Christmas Lyrics to Life with Amazon Merch on Demand

It’s (nearly) Christmas Everybody!

“Hey there Hi there Ho there“ and “Greetings Pop Pickers” are familiar catchphrases to BBC Radio 2 listeners everywhere in the UK.

Sunny Side Up has landed a global deal to deliver the nation’s favourite Christmas lyrics on products such as t-shirts, phone cases, tote bags and many more through “Amazon Merch on Demand”.

The race to be the Christmas number one has attracted great interest since the Tin Pan Alley days, so whether your favourite Christmas lyric is from Slade Wizzard, Shakin’ Stevens or The Wombles, Amazon Merch on Demand has you covered.

In 1973, the race to be the Christmas number one was won by Slade with “Merry Xmas Everybody” and we are proud that, as part this

global deal, Slade’s lyrics, alongside many others, will feature on products on Amazon this Christmas (an amazing 51 years after the song was first recorded).

In the same year, “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day” by Wizzard got to number four in the charts and the lyrics sound just as fresh now as they did when the song was first released.

“This Is Christmas”, so “if you are not hanging up your stocking on the wall”, simply having a wonderful Christmas time putting “a great big smile on somebody’s face” by purchasing one our Christmas products, then what are you doing?

If we have not got your favourite Christmas lyric on one of our products, then please let us know as there is always next Christmas as opposed to “Last Christmas”.

Ironically, for copyright reasons we could not bring you the Slade Christmas card we wanted to, so instead, here is a photograph of Jean- Michel Jarre outside Chappell of Bond Street with Alan Fluff Freeman (who originally uttered the catchphrase at the start of this release, “Greetings Pop Pickers“ every Saturday morning) and the author who had just started

his first job as a sales assistant at Chappell of Bond Street in 1977.

Before we go, remember that, after all, “Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year”.
