Congratulations on your new role! What excites you most about joining The Insights Family?

I think the suite of products that The Insights Family have created are unique in this space – and that’s exciting. Access to real-time insights has never been more critical for brands, and I’m looking forward to working with partners to unlock new growth opportunities. I’m also looking forward to joining the talented team!

How do you see your experience contributing to The Insights Family’s vision of delivering actionable insights to brands?

I’ve had the pleasure of working at the forefront of industry change within the Kids & Family space for over a decade and this has allowed me to understand clients’ specific needs, the challenges they face, and the levers to pull when building tailored, insight-led strategies. The kids’ space is particularly complex and often tough to navigate i.e. within Toy / Games – the end user is often not the same as the purchaser!

What do you think sets The Insights Family apart in the insights and research space?

The Insights Family has an innovative approach of combining traditional research methods with cutting-edge technology, which means findings are not only reliable, but quickly actionable, to enhance brand and corporate decision-making. The pace of product innovation at TIF is impressive as it matches the speed of change within consumer behaviour and trends.

In your view, what are the biggest challenges brands face today when connecting with younger generations, and how can The Insights Family help solve them?

Authenticity and adapting to rapidly evolving trends. Consumer behaviour amongst younger audiences has never been more fragmented; with global real-time and historic data points at our fingertips, The Insights Family is perfectly positioned to support brands on their journey of better understanding and engaging with this audience.

What are you most looking forward to as you take on this new role?

Supporting businesses in their continued quest to meaningfully connect with their consumers of today and tomorrow!

Jack Day:

With over 10 years’ experience in kids’ media and entertainment, Jack has a diverse background and proven track record of initiating and expanding global partnerships across licensing, content, toy, and FMCG. Prior to The Insights Family, Jack served at WildBrain as Head of Partnerships and most recently at KidsKnowBest as the company’s Commercial Director.
