Larkshead Licensing is New Agent for Tom Gates
Following the announcement that an epic Tom Gates nationwide live stage show launches in April, TG Entertainment Ltd. has appointed Larkshead Licensing as the new UK licensing agent for the hugely popular book and TV brand. Larkshead will launch their strategy at the Brands & Retail Conference in January.
Larkshead, which already represents a range of publishing and entertainment properties, will focus on extending the licensing programme that inspires children to get creative in a variety of innovative ways.

Launched in 2011, Liz Pichon’s multi-award-winning Tom Gates book series published by Scholastic has sold more than 16.5 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 47 languages. The 23 novels, in handwritten font with Tom’s doodles and pictures embellishing the text, document in hilarious detail his everyday trials and tribulations at home and school, immersing readers in a relatable world, wherever they live.
Tom’s world also features in the hugely-successful and award-winning TV spin-off – The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, which features the voices of stars including Catherine Tate, Mark Bonnar and Bonnie Langford and brings to life the wonderful characters, illustrations and humour that have made Tom Gates a success around the world. All three series, plus Christmas and Halloween specials, are available to view on demand on Sky Kids and Now with selected episodes and clip compilations on YouTube.
Recently announced is Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show, which brings Tom’s world centre stage for a magical mix of fun, hilarious performances, catchy tunes and audience interaction, and launches in April at The Rose Theatre in Kingston-upon-Thames, before embarking on a 45-date tour around the UK.
The Brilliant World of Tom Gates is produced by TG Entertainment Ltd with support from Sky, The National Lottery and Scottish Government through Screen Scotland, and distribution partner WildBrain. Liz Pichon’s Tom Gates book series is published by Scholastic in the UK.
