StoryToys, the Dublin-based award-winning developer of interactive and educational digital content for pre-school children, has announced the upcoming launch of the LEGO Bluey mobile game in collaboration with the LEGO Group and BBC Studios.

StoryToys has partnered with the LEGO Group and BBC Studios to create a mobile game for the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning global phenomenon. This brand-new game brings the charm and fun of the globally beloved animated TV series that follows Bluey, a loveable, inexhaustible, blue heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister, Bingo into an engaging digital experience, designed especially for children, between two and seven.

The game captures the spirit of the Bluey TV series by reflecting values, themes, and character representation. The app will feature characters, builds, and props from the upcoming LEGO Bluey range to offer fun digital play experiences mixed with creative brick building, problem solving challenges and the chance to play out fun moments from the show. It is designed to align with young children’s developmental needs to support both emotional and cognitive development.

The LEGO Group and BBC Studios are unveiling the hotly anticipated new Bluey playsets from their Bluey™ collaboration today. The sets welcome Bluey and her the beloved family into the world of LEGO® play for the very first time with six new LEGO Bluey™ products for ages 2-5 – all launching from 1st of June 2025.

Emmet O’Neill, Chief Executive of StoryToys, shared his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “We are delighted to bring LEGO Bluey to life as an interactive experience that captures the joy, creativity, and sense of play that families love about Bluey. This app builds upon the success of our LEGO DUPLO® apps and continues our mission to create engaging digital experiences that support children’s development through play.”

Emmet went onto say that, “StoryToys embraces the power of play to inspire children. By bringing the beloved character Bluey into the digital world of LEGO play, children can now explore Bluey’s adventures through fun and engaging content.”

Marina Mello BBC Studios Global Director for Gaming & Interactive said: “I’m delighted that BBC Studios is partnering with the talented teams at StoryToys, LEGO Group and Ludo Studio on this fantastic project.
