Pantomimus Media has announced two new Audiobook deals for its multimedia YA fantasy brand The Red Harlequin with Italian Publisher Fabler Audio and Spanish publisher SonoLibro. The deals follow an agreement with audio book giant Dreamscape Media who distribute the English language audio and ebooks worldwide.

Fabler then attentively curates audio production of the highest standard down to each meticulously crafted step, collaborating with world-class, Grammy-winning production studios.

The ambitious series has already captured the imagination of tens of thousands of readers and listeners worldwide, and we look forward to helping it reach an even broader audience in audio.”
Spanish audio publisher SonoLibro has also acquired all five books in The Red Harlequin series for worldwide Spanish rights, scheduled to be released in the fall of 2020. SonoLibro is one of the few Spanish audio publishers in the world that produces its audiobooks with special sound and music effects, enhancing the listening experience beyond the spoken word.

They are two incredible companies that enjoy producing high-end audio books to maximize the listener’s immersive experience in a story and I can’t wait for Italian and Spanish audiences to enjoy The Red Harlequin universe in this very exciting format.”
The Red Harlequin is an epic YA series that features Asheva, an aspirational teenager living in a complex world divided among Chrome Nations, where everyone lives hidden behind a mask. Backed by Finnish Media Fund, IPR, the series is being developed as a TV show with Canada’s Omnifilm Media (The Bletchley Files), Showrunner Robert Butler (BAFTA winning co-creator of the BBC/DHX Creeped Out anthology series), and Rick Porras (co-producer of The Lord of the Rings).
The brainchild of ex-journalist and kids entertainment executive Roberto Ricci, The Red Harlequin is being developed as a transmedia concept across publishing, games and music, with publishing as the key pillar. The books series has been translated into French, Italian, Russian, Turkish and Kazakh, and the graphic novels are distributed in the US by Broken Icon Comics.
