A Sleepy Jones x New Yorker Collaboration

Launching from The New Yorker and Sleepy Jones is a limited-edition pair of pajamas featuring the whimsical work of the New Yorker cartoonist Charles Barsotti. Available in men’s and women’s sizes, the cotton p.j.s feature twelve of Barsotti’s signature dog drawings.

“Barsotti got straight to the point with his concise, angular drawings of kings, God, dogs, and other masters of the universe,” said cartoon editor Emma Allen. “Now, let his characters guide you straight to sleep. Never before has snoozing with a pack of pups been so conformable, hilarious, and dander-free.”

Barsotti drew nearly fourteen hundred cartoons for The New Yorker over the years, beginning in the 1960s and continuing right until his death, in 2014.

The pajamas, Sleepy Jones’s best-selling style, are available exclusively in the New Yorker Store for two weeks, after which they will also be sold on sleepyjones.com.

Launched last November, the New Yorker Store is an online collection of apparel, home goods, and more that celebrate the magazine, its history, and its sense of humor—from a Eustace Tilley kite to a crossword-puzzle puzzle. New product drops will continue through summer.
