Australian Menswear Label Launches Steve McQueen Collaboration

Australian menswear brand Mr Simple has launched a Steve McQueen apparel collaboration in a deal brokered by local licensing representative – Blue Chip Brands.

It was only a matter of time before Australian menswear brand Mr Simple and The King of Cool collided. Arguably the biggest style icon of the ’60s and ’70s, McQueen was either an actor who liked to race or a racer who liked to act.

He’s timeless and so it was the perfect inspiration for a collaboration,” says Dave Fraser, director of Mr Simple. “We’ve woven his classic style into every part of this limited-edition collection.”

Built around staples that McQueen made iconic, there are tees (some with prints inspired by his racing career), polos, cotton canvas shorts, short sleeve button up shirts and swim shorts, which are finished with woven tape that has Steve McQueen written along it.

Constructed with premium fabrics, such as organic cotton, sustainable hemp and linen. The Mr Simple collection focuses on cut, fabric and quality. Logos and branding are kept to a minimum so your personal style can say it all.  The collection will be available in Mr Simple stores, menswear boutiques and premium online retailers nationally.
