Brand New Betty Boop Collabs from Global Icons and Fleischer Studios

Global Icons and Fleischer Studios, owner of a number of classic animated characters including Betty Boop, have entered into a wide range of new licensing collaborations for the beloved Queen of Cartoons, including upcoming launches for stylish new apparel, accessories, and pet products. In addition, dynamic new character art will be unveiled for licensees in May at the upcoming International Licensing Show in Las Vegas.

This fall, the new collaboration Bella Doña x Betty Boop will debut with a new apparel and accessories collection as part of the expanding Betty of the People initiative, a program created by Fleischer Studios to make Betty Boop more accessible to a wider range of cultures and communities around the world.  This initiative will showcase the beloved character with a diverse variety of partners creating organic designs that celebrate identity and individual heritage. Bella Doña, co-founded by best friends LaLa Romero and Natalia Durazo and rooted in Chicano and LA culture, is proud to celebrate this spirit of sisterhood with Betty!

On May 22nd, a new Betty Boop x Marc Jacobs collaboration will be released featuring specialty tees, bags and accessories celebrating the animated screen star.

Launching this summer will also be a new line of products for pets with Buckle-Down, including a large selection of collars, leashes, bowls, and other accessories. Goodie Two Sleeves, known for their funny and unique tee-shirts, will also appeal to pet lovers, with a new line of Betty Boop pet apparel dropping this holiday season. Pet items are a natural for Betty Boop, as she’s known for her love of animals and is often seen having fun with her cherished pup Pudgy.

This past year, Betty Boop has further delighted fans with numerous highly successful and viral collabs, including an ongoing collection of watch bands, phone and AirPod cases by Affinity Brand Partners, a colorful line of fun cosmetics with Glamlite, and a collection of hand-painted apparel by wearable art brand Wren + Glory. In addition, the highly anticipated BOOP! The Musical premiered last December in Chicago, thrilling fans of all ages and receiving rave reviews with an expected Broadway debut in spring of 2025.
