Cleo & Cuquín Enjoys YouTube Success

Independent European animation company Ánima Kitchent has announced the growing success of its preschool series Cleo & Cuquín.

The animation series has seen remarkable growth across digital platforms with YouTube leading the success, achieving a staggering 64 million subscribers, 31 billion views and 2.1 billion hours of screening time.  In 2024 Cleo & Cuquín achieved an incredible 9.4 billion views marking a 74% increase compared to 6.1 billion views in 2023 and 3.5 billion views in 2022 showing a dramatic 54% growth overall.  This rapid growth in success is a testament to the popularity and global appeal of Cleo & Cuquín.

The series with its diverse content, including catchy songs, episodes from the series and the innovative new format Discover & Explore continues to resonate with audiences across the global.  The Discover & Explore episodes starring Cuquín, a fan favorite, are driving the largest share of viewership and performing the best.  Initially available in three languages – English, Spanish and Portuguese, the Cleo & Cuquín content has expanded its reach and is now available in more than ten languages.  

With 1,221 minutes of content already available including 79 x 7’ episodes of Cleo & Cuquín (Season 1 & 2), 40 x 5’ episodes of the original Cuquín (Season 1 & 2), 90 x 2.5’ music videos and 50 x 5’ Discover & Explore episodes, 2025 will see an additional 250 minutes produced.  By the end of the year, more than 1,500 minutes of content will be available, further solidifying its popularity and global success and extending its reach to an even larger audience.
