Craft Buddy has welcomed the iconic Care Bears™ into its distinguished portfolio, marking a significant addition that highlights the strength of its licensing business. This new partnership with Cloudco Entertainment’s Care Bears not only expands Craft Buddy’s portfolio offerings, but also signifies Cloudco’s commitment to fostering creative collaborations that bring the brand to life in new and engaging ways.
Through this partnership, Craft Buddy will launch a diverse range of Care Bears-themed Crystal Art® products, designed to inspire creativity in both children and adults. The collection will feature Craft Buddy’s award-winning product lines, such as Crystal Art ® Buddies, with a strong focus on collectability and friendship. Additionally, exciting new product developments are underway to tap into the growing kidult landscape, ensuring continuous innovation and engagement for all ages.
The agreement, brokered by Cloudco Entertainment’s UK licensing agent, Bulldog Licensing, alongside Craft Buddy’s Director, Gary Wadhwani, covers multi-territory distribution, aligning with Craft Buddy’s well-established distribution and retail channels to ensure strong market placement.
Since their debut in the 1980s, Care Bears have become one of the world’s most beloved character brands, known for their vibrant personalities, unique belly badge powers, and unwavering mission to spread love, kindness, and positivity. With a strong emphasis on friendship, sharing, and emotional expression, the brand continues to resonate across generations, inspiring fans of all ages through entertainment, consumer products, and immersive experiences worldwide.
Launching from Autumn/Winter 2025, the Care Bears™ x Craft Buddycollection will be available through major retailers, independent craft stores, and online, with RRPs starting at £4.99, making the range widely accessible. A key focus of the partnership will be tapping into specialty hobby, crafting, and independent retailers, a core component of Craft Buddy’s international strategy.
Backed by marketing and social media campaigns, the collection will be available through the Craft Buddy online shop, Amazon and TikTok Shop, ensuring fans can easily access the Care Bears™ Crystal Art® collection with ease. Craft Buddy will work closely with the Care Bears regional team to deliver integrated marketing activities and brand awareness initiatives, ensuring strong consumer engagement from pre-launch through retail rollouts.
