CREATIVE ARTISTS AGENCY ACQUIRES FULL OWNERSHIP OF CAA-GBG

Leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) today announced that it has acquired full ownership of the business of CAA-GBG Global Brand Management Group (CAA-GBG), one of the world’s leading brand management agencies, which prior to the transaction was operated through a joint venture formed in 2016 between CAA and Global Brands Group (GBG).  CAA’s newly named CAA Brand Management division will immediately be integrated into the day-to-day operations of the agency.  Co-led by seasoned brand executives Perry Wolfman and Noah Gelbart, CAA Brand Management’s more than 160 employees will continue to build and execute innovative, revenue-generating, brand extension programs for many of the world’s most iconic brands.  CAA Brand Management has offices spanning 17 countries, including the U.S., U.K., China, India, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Germany, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Australia, and Brazil, among others.

CAA Brand Management is currently managing programs for many of the world’s leading brands, including Budweiser, Coca-Cola, The Cheesecake Factory, Formula One, Jaguar Land Rover, the Bob Marley Estate, Minecraft, Netflix, Playboy, Red Bull Racing, Riot Games, and Skechers, among many others.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
