Disney Launching Virtual Pixar Fest

Disney Launching Virtual Pixar Fest

This year, it’s been 25 years since fan-favourite Toy Story hit our screens – to celebrate Pixar’s first release and a quarter of a century of Pixar movie magic, Disney will be launching a virtual family festival Pixar Fest this August.

Confidentially, the festival will celebrate a different Pixar film every day from 9th August, including watch parties on Disney+ and Disney’s social channels, panels with Pixar film makers, online quizzes hosted by Edith Bowman for Pixar movie buffs and Pixar-inspired arts and crafts for kids.  Pixar Fest will also be supporting charity MediCinema, which creates ‘movie moments’ for children in hospitals across the country.

As part of the Pixar Fest celebrations, Disney have introduced a brand-new range of merchandise celebrating the heritage of Pixar, available through shopDisney – including a really cute new soft toy range of Aliens from Toy Story, dressed up as some of the Pixar’s most lovable characters!

Toy Story’s Woody and Lotso, Brave’s Merida, Inside Out’s Anger, as well as Finding Nemo and Incredibles, Alien Remix soft toys will be available from Monday 10th August, with even more characters dropping every Monday for 6 weeks from then.
