Epic Story Media Unveils Latest Entertainment Slate at Licensing Expo
Epic Story Media, the renowned creator-driven kids franchise company, is showcasing the company’s growing catalog of new entertainment properties at Licensing Expo, giving attendees a sneak peek of upcoming launches with a celebratory media mixer led by founder Ken Faier. Epic has solidified itself as a leader in producing and representing quality brands for children, and now industry professionals will get a firsthand look at the imaginative new worlds coming down the pipeline.
Epic Story Media has added new brands to its slate of entertainment properties with the signing of three new partners, including:
- Being named the North American licensing and merchandising agent to Studio 100, and Cheeky Little’s preschool property Vegesaurs, a delicious new animated series that follows Ginger the Tricarrotops who explores the world of the crunchiest era, going on adventures throughout the colourful Vegesaur Valley. The series premiered on ABC in Australia and CBeebies in the UK to incredible ratings.
- Signing on as the licensing agent in North America for the #1 indie music artist on YouTube, Gummibär, which includes an engagement with sister company Freeground for a Roblox game experience. Gummibär has over 25 billion views on YouTube, and the series Gummibär and Friends: The Gummy Bear Show, produced by Toonz Media Group, airs around the world.
- Securing representation rights for the global content and L&M rights (excluding MENA and China) for Bidaya Media’s The Adventures of Mansour: Age of AI, which has 104 x 11 minute episodes in production. The original Mansour is a sci-fi cartoon phenomenon from the Middle East that has racked up an astounding 2 billion YouTube views and is returning with this all-new series, destined to bring globally relevant stories with cultural and authentic Middle Eastern characters that are under-represented in today’s media world.
In addition, Epic will provide an update on productions wrapping and new merchandise from highly anticipated properties, including the Epic/Tencent/Unicorn co-produced Bubble’s Hotel, Wildbrain’s Slugterra, and Epic’s Hailey and the Hero Hearts’ new toy lines, manufactured by Reesee Entertainment, as well as the development of a new graphic novel for Pet Shop Zombies.
Attendees can also anticipate the latest news from Outfit7’s content and gaming brand Talking Tom & Friends with a recent partnership from Google Automotive Services for the first immersive in-car gaming experience. On top of that, Epic is co-producing their newest preschool series, Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super, which has recently gone into animation. We’ll also see a first look of Hop, from Emmy Award-winning creator Marc Brown, animated by Epic’s sister company Loomi Animation and greenlit by Max (Warner Bros. Discovery).
“We are beyond excited to see our expansive lineup of projects from visionary creators hit the market,” said Faier. “Our 360 approach and partnership model have enabled us to succeed in this challenging landscape.”
Epic has brought fresh and dynamic storytelling to children of all ages in just five short years, and the true breadth of the company’s work will be on full display at this year’s Licensing Expo.
