HK Stationery Fair is set to return in January
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the 21st edition of the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair will return with a new fair name, new exhibit categories as well as a new exhibition model. The fair will adopt the physical-online EXHIBITION+ model for the first time. The physical fair will run from 9 – 12 January 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre while the online exhibition will run until 19 January, helping the industry capture business opportunities through the comprehensive online and offline business platforms.
With online teaching and work from home becoming new norms amid the pandemic, demand for e-learning resources and video conferencing equipment has risen sharply and is expected to remain high. In response to this industry trend and market demands the fair has been renamed as the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair to highlight the new ‘Learning Resources’ exhibit category, which covers a variety of e-learning systems and software, pre-school education and learning products as well as video conferencing systems and equipment. Apart from dedicated zones for Stationery and School Supplies, the fair will continue to showcase creative art, gift stationery, office supplies, pen & paper and school stationery, providing a convenient one-stop sourcing platform for buyers.
The fair organisers strive to promote the fair to the industry and continue to cooperate with renowned industry associations in different regions, including the Korea Stationery Industry Cooperative, the Taiwan Association of Stationery Industries, the Malaysia Stationery Importers and Exporters Association and the Thai Stationeries and Office Supplies Association.
The Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair will run under the new EXHIBITION+ model. It comprises four key exhibition elements, including physical fairs, the smart business-matching platform Click2Match, online-to-offline seminars under the Intelligence Hub, and the hktdc.com Sourcing platform, to provide round-the-clock services that boost the flexibility and effectiveness of business promotion for SMEs and offer benefits such as extended fair periods, expanded platforms and enhanced opportunities. EXHIBITION+ extends face-to-face interactions from physical exhibitions to an online smart business-matching platform to help users connect with business partners proactively.
Concurrent fairs create more business opportunities
The Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair will be held concurrently with the HKTDC’s Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and the Hong Kong Baby Products Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, providing a one-stop sourcing platform and crossover business opportunities for participants. The 2023 fair will also run alongside the HKTDC Hong Kong International Optical Fair, which runs from 9 – 11 January.
