Il Milanese Imbruttito stars in new smartphone accessory line
Maurizio Distefano Licensing, which manages the licensing programme in Italy for Il Milanese Imbruttito, the witty and irreverent brand inspired by the people of Milan, announces an agreement in the Italian market with La Casa de Las Carcasas, which specialises in creating a wide range of smartphone accessories, including personalised and branded cases.
Already launched at retail in July this year has been a range called Le Cover Imbruttite, featuring two distinct lines: the Classic Line, showcasing the best-known phrases from Il Milanese Imbruttito, and the Figa Line, dedicated to typical Milanese slang. The same cover designs are also available as back skins, a film that can be applied directly to the back of the phone.
La Casa de Las Carcasas plans to extend the product range soon with stickers featuring the brand’s most famous words and phrases, such as ‘Sbatti’, ‘TAAC’, and ‘Mollatemi’, terms that express irritation, enthusiasm, disagreement and much more in very Milanese ways.
La Casa de Las Carcasas, a leader in its sector, was founded in 2012 in Madrid. Customers can purchase covers and accessories both online and in-store, where they can use a tablet to browse all available designs and select the one they wish to buy. La Casa de Las Carcasas is celebrated for the unique style and fresh perspective it brings to its products.
With millions of followers across various social platforms, Il Milanese Imbruttito has created an engaging and passionate community. Its posts have gone viral thanks to the property’s unique mix of irony, satire and a healthy dose of self-deprecation.
Maurizio Distefano, President of the agency Maurizio Distefano Licensing, says: “We saw the potential of the Il Milanese Imbruttito brand from a very early stage, and we’re delighted to have been proved right: Il Milanese Imbruttito is today well-known throughout Italy. We are extremely excited to be signing a major name like La Casa de Las Carcasas to this licensing campaign and are looking forward to bringing many more partners on board in the coming months.”
