Karl Ferris, the well-known cover photo designer appointed Hamburg-based V.I.P. Entertainment & Merchandising AG as its worldwide and exclusive licensing agent.

English born Ferris shot many of the most recognized photographs and designs for famous records for Jimi Hendrix, Donovan, The Hollies and many other 60s Rock Stars & Supermodels.

Ferris had previously an US agent for 10 years who retired and closed up, five years ago. According to Ferris he licensed merchandise to many manufacturers, who sold to department stores like Target, JCPenney, Macy’s, Walmart, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus etc. Countless shirts can still be seen online though all licenses ended some five years ago.

The Karl Ferris Collection comprises a large selection of his iconic shots but is most popular for his psychedelic artwork of his Jimi Hendrix photographs.

V.I.P. CEO Michael A. Lou gathers presently a group of prime sub-agents for the key markets.

His agency has a 40+ years track record and represented already brands like Pepsi Cola, IBM, Nestlé or Fabergé, entertainment properties like Star Wars, James Bond and Indiana Jones and numerous celebrities and legends like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Humphrey Bogart and alike.

Apart from the iconic Jimi Hendrix art for merchandising V.I.P. also offers Ferris art for NFT´s and hopes to find international publishers for Ferris´s “Golden Book”, featuring the best of his 60’s Psychedelic Record Album Cover portrait photographs, of Jimi Hendrix, Donovan, Eric Clapton, Cream, Graham Nash, and The Hollies.

It contains, the actual famous Record Album Cover photos, plus outtakes, unpublished “lost” shots and other psychedelic photographs taken during this period, including various “inside” personal anecdotes and contemporary quotes by famous musicians and inside stories about recording sessions and concerts and hanging-out with them, etc.
