Kangaru Signs with Perfetti van Melle

Kangaru LLC,  maker of scented stationery and activities, and Perfetti van Melle have aligned to build a sweetly scented program.

Development is now underway as Kangaru Brands expands its merchandise offerings for 2021-2022 with it’s first licenses from Pefetti van Melle.  Kangaru will offer innovative bright and colorful scented stationery and art materials for three of Perfetti’s top brands in the U.S. including Chupa Chups, Mentos and Airheads.

“Perfetti’s brands are a natural fit for our scented pens, markers, paints and plush” said Joe Dipalma, CEO of Kangaru.   “We are excited to extend these sweet fan favorites into the stationery and activity aisles at retail and liven up the workplace”, he added.

“At Perfetti, we are very excited at the prospect of Kangaru developing a range of creative products with our brands”, says Christine Cool, License Area Manager of Perfetti Van Melle. “We particularly appreciate their know how with scented stationery items, that are a perfect match with the aroma of our consumer’s favorite candy flavors.” The licensing deal was brokered by Alita’s Brand Bar representing Kangaru, Lisa Marks (LMA, Inc.) representing Mentos and Chupa Chups and Seltzer Licensing representing Airheads.

This license comes on the heels of Kangaru announcing its foray into licensing last month.
