‘Licensing without Borders’: Two Agencies Join Forces
Licensing agencies TreImage, LLC, based in Los Angeles, and The Licensing Locomotive, located in Barcelona, have entered into an agreement to jointly expand their global reach across the Atlantic.
Treimage is a rising leader in representing well-known hip-hop artists and entertainers for licensing and marketing opportunities, including Ja Rule, Master P, Blac Chyna, Amber Rose, Soulja Boy, Warren G. and Chaka Khan, as well as brands such as Sunkist, Sun-Maid, PIPELINE and Tropical Vibes. The Licensing Locomotive, established 15 years ago, works with intellectual properties across a variety of genres including corporate brands, celebrities, music bands, publishing, sports lPs and others.
“Entering into the international marketplace is an important part of the expansion plan for TreImage”, stated Charles Singleton, CEO of TreImage. “We’re excited about joining forces with The Licensing Locomotive, which will allow both our companies to increase exposure and generate meaningful revenue for the brands we represent.”
“The market is constantly changing, and licensees and retailers need to look for new opportunities from a variety of sources, including those that are outside of their territory”, stated Carmen Ariza, Managing Director at The Licensing Locomotive. “Through our partnership with TreImage, we can help them expand their businesses with some of the world’s best-known properties as our companies continue to develop our Business Without Borders initiative.”
