Magic Light Brings Pip and Posy back to the Big Screen
Multi BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated production company Magic Light Pictures is taking its hugely popular and award-winning pre-school series Pip and Posy back to the big screen for a brand-new cinema experience Pip and Posy and Friends.
Returning for another hour of fun, consisting of seven episodes, interactive games and a special singalong, Pip and Posy will bring their new animated antics to selected cinemas at Vue, Odeon, Picturehouse, Showcase and The Light cinemas across the UK from March 15th. This time they have brought all their friends along too, inviting the audience to play, sing and laugh along with Pip, Posy, Jamila, Zac and Frankie.
The new cinema outing follows the success of 2022’s Pip and Posy’s Cinema Show which was seen by over 30,000 people across 200+ screens and made six figures at the box office.
Hugely popular with viewers of Channel 5’s Milkshake! and Sky Kids, Pip and Posy are best friends whose lives revolve around a wonderful world of play. They play at home, in the park, in the snow, at the sandpit, on sunny days and rainy days and with their friends! They make things, they tell stories, and they invent games together. And when things go awry, Pip and Posy use play to solve problems and to overcome their differences in creative and fun ways. Then they can get back to doing what they love best – having fun!

Magic Light Pictures holds the global distribution and merchandising rights to Pip and Posy (excluding publishing) and has launched a full consumer products programme to complement the property. Products already available at retail include toys from Bandai, tie-in publishing from Nosy Crow, puzzles from Ravensburger, dress up with Amscan, outerwear with Blues Group and nightwear and accessories with Aykroyds/TDP.
Pip and Posy airs on over 32 international broadcasters including ZDF in Germany, FranceTV, Rai in Italy and ABC Australia.
