Ka:e Rollings, Chief Licensing Officer of Acamar Films said: “Bing stories provide the emo>onal and
social developmental tools to equip young children in ge]ng ready for life. Childhood Day is an
incredible way to come together and celebrate all children. We are thrilled that Bing is part of this
initiarve with Matalan and the NSPCC which will help make a difference in children’s lives across the
UK.”
Jo Burton, Partnerships Manager at the NSPCC said: “Bing is such a beloved character on children’s
television, and we’re delighted to see him on this brilliant t-shirt. The support of Matalan and Acamar
Films in sharing this limited-edi>on t-shirt for Childhood Day this year is hugely important, as funds
raised will help NSPCC services like Childline across the country.
“On average, a child contacts our Childline service every 45 seconds, and while that’s completely free
to the child who needs support, it costs Åí4 for our counsellors to pick up and offer their help to
children whenever they need it. We’re hugely grateful to Matalan, Acamar, Bing and everyone who
will be taking part in Childhood Day this year. Whether you’re able to buy one of these great t-shirts,
fundraise, donate or volunteer to help this Childhood Day, it all makes a difference and helps us help
children in Merseyside and across the UK.”
