Moley Seleced as Exclusive Global Early Years Ambassador
Award-winning animation producer and IP company, Two Daughters Entertainment (2DE), and the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), one of the world’s largest environmental education organizations, have announced an exclusive global partnership centred around the popular Moley IP. Operating in over 100 countries, FEE engages over 21 million students across 48,000 schools through its education programmes; Eco-Schools, Learning about Ecosystems and Forests (LEAF) and Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE).
Through this partnership, Moley and the citizens of Moletown will become global ambassadors for FEE’s Global Action Days campaign in 2025, inviting all those taking part to carry out hands-on citizen science tasks linked to ecosystems as part of FEE’s global work to support the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Over two weeks, commencing on World Earth Day, 22nd April 2025 the Global Action Days campaign, with the support of all living in Moletown, will demonstrate how individual actions, no matter how small, can significantly impact both personal and environmental well-being.
Thats not all- additional resources featuring Moley could be made available to early education settings as part of FEE’s expanding LEAF (Learning About Ecosystems and Forests) and Eco-Schools programmes. These initiatives empower young people to take a solution-focused approach to environmental challenges, fostering a more environmentally conscious future.
The partnership was facilitated by Nikki Beckett at Snowball Effect.
Rob Goodchild, Commercial Director at 2DE, commented:
“Good citizenship, positive action, and care for the environment are central pillars of our Moley IP. Teaming up with FEE offers a fantastic opportunity to share these values and inspire children to explore and nurture the world around them – and even beneath their feet.”
Lee Wray-Davies, Global Director of Education at FEE added: “The partnership with 2DE and Moley enables FEE to bring engaging characters, stories, and fun activities to our education work across the globe. Our Global Action Days campaign will serve as the perfect launchpad, focusing on important themes like soil health and biodiversity, with assets designed for young and old to understand and appreciate nature and its crucial role in all our lives.”
