Moonbug to Showcase CoComelon Toys with Jazwares at New York Toy Fair

Moonbug Entertainment, a subsidiary of Candle Media announces expansion plans for its biggest global franchise, CoComelon, with master toy partner Jazwares. A new collection of toys featuring characters from the popular franchise will be on display at New York Toy Fair (Jazwares booth #2403) from September 30th to October 3rd.

Moonbug has partnered with Jazwares to release the My Friend Nina doll – now available at WalmartTarget (online only) and Amazon. Nina is JJ’s sporty classmate and friend, who grew up surrounded by her family’s rich Mexican-American culture. This lovable character is now sharing and celebrating her heritage in the everyday aspects of her life through Nina’s Familia, the new CoComelon spin-off show which launches September 29th. Nina’s bilingual nature is reflected in the My Friend Ninadoll with fun phrases and songs in both English and Spanish. Young children around the world will now get to experience more stories through the lens of a bilingual intergenerational Mexican-American family, and play and learn with their friend Nina.

“We’ve seen Nina’s character encourage understanding among children from different backgrounds, foster a sense of inclusivity and friendship, and bring the rich Mexican-American culture to life. Now little ones are able to extend those story lines and learnings to their own play time with the My Friend Nina doll,” says Ryan Gorman, Head of Franchise, Toy & Retail Development at Moonbug Entertainment. “We are so excited about the launch of Nina’s Familia, and thrilled that the Nina doll is resonating with our audience as they connect with Nina and her family in new ways.”

Moonbug and Jazwares continue to find success with hit dolls Peek-a-Boo JJ and Dancing JJ, allowing kids to play interactively with CoComelon’s JJ. Peek-a-Boo JJ is able to play every little one’s favorite game, “Peek-a-Boo!” Combining motorized movement with 17 unique sounds and movements, Peek-a-Boo JJ keeps little ones engaged and entertained – the doll is available on Amazon and in Target (both online and in-stores).

With Dancing JJ, little ones are able to have the ultimate dance party experience with three interactive play modes: Learn to Dance, Fast & Slow, and Freeze Dance. His light up pajamas, dancing, singing and fun phrases, make Dancing JJ the perfect companion to get your little one moving and grooving! Dancing JJ is available now in Target, both online and in stores.

Peek-a-Boo JJ retails for $24.99 at Target (online & in-stores) and Amazon & Dancing JJ retails for $49.99 at Target (online & in-stores).
