Moonpig and Great Ormond Street Launch First-Ever range of singing Christmas cards
It wouldn’t be Christmas without the sound of carols in the air, so to dial up the festive spirit this Moonpig has created their first ever collection of musical charity cards in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity).
Perfect for those looking to send a Christmas card with an extra touch of magic, Moonpig’s new range of charity cards feature the joyful melodies of the GOSH & UCLH Staff Choir. So, when reading those festive well wishes from friends and family you can also enjoy the choir’s stunning rendition of ‘Deck The Halls’. With 12 singing GOSH themed charity cards in our range to choose from, each features a QR code on the back of the card which, when scanned, will bring up the option to play audio of the GOSH Arts Choir. From twinkling trees to starlit scenes, each design is perfect for sending a little extra Christmas joy to those who need it most this year.
Sarah-Jane Porter, Global Design & Licensing Director from Moonpig commented: “We know that Christmas can be a difficult time, especially for those who can’t be with loved ones. That’s why we’ve partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital to create a range of cards that bring joy and connection, no matter where you are. By scanning the QR code, you can share a special moment and spread some festive cheer.”
GOSH Charity’s Deputy Director of Relationship Fundraising, Sarah Bissell, said: “It’s fantastic to see this new range of cards go on sale in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity), and we are so grateful for the hugely generous donation from Moonpig. The money raised will support the GOSH Arts programme, which is funded by GOSH Charity and provides vital entertainment, arts and music projects to help bring joy to the seriously ill children and their families at the hospital. The funds raised will help make Christmas feel like Christmas for the children and their families at GOSH whose treatment has to continue over the festive season.” Alongside this special card range, Moonpig are proud to be donating £50,000 in support of GOSH’s arts programme, funded by GOSH Charity, which works to bring joy to children who need it most. All funds raised will go towards supporting everything from creative workshops to heartwarming performances by musicians and West End stars, helping to bring creativity and enjoyment to the hospital and making Christmas feel like Christmas for families at GOSH over the festive season. This year marks Moonpigs biggest ever charity range with the singing cards featuring within a wider charity collection of 100 designs which will raise further awareness of GOSH.
