Moose Toys Scores Aussie Toy Awards Hat-trick

Moose Toys is celebrating a landmark achievement at the Australian Toy Association’s 2025 Toy of the Year Awards last night, where it took home three prestigious awards, including Judges’ Choice 2025 Outlook, Australian Product Development Award, and Doll of the Year.
Unveiled just last week ahead of the New York Toy Fair and yet to hit shelves, Moose’s innovative slime brand Gui Gui was awarded the Judges’ Choice 2025 Outlook, solidifying its place as the product to watch in 2025.
The Judges’ Choice 2025 Outlook is given to a new and exciting product predicted to be a major success in the Australian market, making Gui Gui one of the most anticipated toys of the year. With its unique twist on traditional slime, Gui Gui is poised to redefine the craft aisle and bring something entirely fresh to the market.
Little Live Pets Really Real Puppy earned the Australian Product Development Award, celebrating products that are either 75% Australian-made or 100% Australian-designed. Meanwhile, the multi-award-winning Moose brand, Magic Mixies, took home Doll of the Year for the Pixlings with Pegacorn.
“We’re extremely proud of our team for consistently pushing the boundaries of toy innovation,” said Paul Solomon, CEO of Moose Toys. “This recognition for Gui Gui before it has even hit shelves is a powerful testament to its potential.”
As a global Aussie company, being recognised in our home country is incredibly special to us. A huge congratulations to everyone at Moose for bringing these award-winning brands to life!”
Bluey was also a standout, with BBC Studios taking home both Preschool License of the Year and Overall License of the Year. Moose Toys has been the global toy partner for Bluey since 2019.
