New Dakar licensing agreement

ASO (Amaury Sport Organisation), the brand owner of Dakar and Edebé Licensing, Dakar’s licensing agent in Iberia have recently signed a Dakar licensing agreement with Grupo Optim, a leading Spanish multinational in the optical sector to develop and commercialise a collection of optics, both eyewear and sun protection inspired by the brand and iconic racing competition.

The Dakar is currently the most widely followed international rally in the world. The competition takes place in the deserts of Saudi Arabia and the last winner in the car category was Madrid-born driver Carlos Sainz.

The official presentation of the Dakar eyewear collection is scheduled to take place during the upcoming Silmo trade fair in Paris with its launched scheduled for this coming September.
