Political Merchandise!

With the British Conservative Party conference in full swing in Manchester, one of the more bizarre features is the array of merchandise on display for delegates to purchase.

Interestingly, at this year’s event it seems you can not move for Margaret Thatcher themed items – mugs, drinks bottles, notepads and even Christmas decorations.

Unfortunately, the current Conservative leader – and British Prime Minister – does not fare so well. The only Rishi Sunak-themed item for sale appears to be a set of drinks coasters.

Is the Tory party trying to tell  him something?
