Products of Change Partners with the Federation of Sports and Play Associations
Sustainability-focused membership and service provider, Products of Change (POC), has announced its partnership with the Federation of Sports and Play Associations (FSPA). The partnership will enable FSPA’s members to utilise the educational resources and information platform that Products of Change provides, via their FSPA affiliation.
This collaboration opens up the plethora of resources and support that Products of Change offers to FSPA members. This includes six sustainability education modules, a library of resources, reports, whitepapers, and webinar recordings, news and updates from the world of sustainable brand and product licensing, working groups and collaborative discussion, as well as access to POC’s advisory team for bespoke support.
As legislation begins to take effect and deadlines for compliance draw ever-nearer, it is essential that companies of all sizes and across all industries are informed and prepared for the changes that they need to be making. The partnership with POC offers this education and support to the sports and play sector.
Nick Palmer, FSPA CEO, commented on the partnership, “We are well aware that there are many challenges that businesses are facing with the current landscape, and there is more to come that our members may not even know about. We want to make sure that they are equipped ahead of upcoming regulations.”
Products of Change’s educational resources, whether that be the independent online learning modules, or one of POC’s many industry webinars, such as ‘Sustainability 101’, enables businesses to proactively educate themselves on the issues that they need to know, and understand how to address them with confidence and lasting impact.
FSPA and POC will host regular meetings for its members throughout the year, ensuring the sports and play associations are informed and supported throughout the partnership.
Something that is fundamental to Products of Change and to accelerating sustainable change in business, is industry collaboration. FSPA is launching a Community Hub on its new website for this purpose, to bring its members together as a network. With POC, FSPA members will be able to engage with the Products of Change platform and with one another to share challenges and work together on solutions.
Sustainability is no longer a ‘nice to do’, it has become a must for businesses to maintain a competitive advantage and futureproof their companies. Preparation and consideration into how a business can become more sustainable is now something investors and partners look for when assessing whether to work with a business. No sustainability strategy indicates a lack of fore planning and awareness of the wider industry landscape and context.
The FSPA is pleased to provide this support to its members and enable them to be at the forefront of sustainable change. “We don’t want to just be paying lip service to this important topic,” said Nick Palmer, “We want to be the forerunners.”
