SMILE TRAIN AND EMOJI

In a deal brokered by Big Picture Licensing, Louis Kennedy, the distinguished agency renowned for its Partnerships with Purpose, proudly announces its latest partnership with emoji® – The Iconic Brand – to raise funds and awareness for cleft charity  Smile Train. The charity is ‘changing the world, one smile at a time’ by enabling free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children and adults in need around the world.

A cleft is a gap or split in the upper lip and/or roof of the mouth. 1 in 700 babies are born with a cleft lip and/or palate globally and can cause difficulties eating, breathing, hearing, and speaking..

The emoji® brand, renowned for its ability to express emotions and thoughts through icons, is a global life style brand. By partnering with the emoji® brand, Smile Train aims to raise as much money as possible to help provide a forever smile and second chance at life to a child living with an untreated cleft.

Louis Kennedy is delighted to bring this incredible charity together with the emoji® brand: a charity that enables children to express themselves with the iconic imagery of expressions.  The fit is perfect and the essential basis of any partnership the company brokers.

Tracey Richardson, Licensing and Partnerships Director at Louis Kennedy, said: “Bringing these amazing partners together, just makes me smile, as I’m sure it will everyone who sees it come to life at retail. We are developing a fun and affordable range of collectibles and dentalcare items to raise funds and awareness for the charity so it can help even more children who cannot smile. We are now seeking retailers and FMCG brands to come on board to join in this amazing opportunity.”

Jason Shauness, UK Fundraising Director at Smile Train, said: “Every child deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy, happy life, full of smiles. Smile Train UK’s partnership with emoji® and Louis Kennedy will help us raise crucial funds and awareness for children with clefts, ensuring that even more children worldwide receive the life-changing treatment they urgently need.” “We are excited to partner with Smile Train for such a meaningful cause. At the emoji company, spreading emotions and positivity is at the heart of everything we do. This collaboration for World Smile Day perfectly aligns with our mission to bring happiness to faces around the globe, and we are honored to support Smile Train’s incredible work in changing lives through the power of a smile.” Said Marco Hüsges, CEO and founder of the emoji company GmbH.
