Dynamic doodler, homework-hater and lover of snacks Tom Gates and his BRILLIANT world are being brought to life for family audiences across the UK in an action-packed new live show, Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show. The show will launch in theatres from 2025.
Based on the bestselling books published by Scholastic and the award-winning Sky Kids and Now TV series created by Liz Pichon and TG Entertainment, Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show brings to life the wonderful characters, illustrations and marvellous music that have made Tom Gates a success around the world. With catchy tunes, hilarious performances and loads of audience interaction, this new stage show brings the best of the brilliant world of Tom Gates under one roof for an electrifying live show.
Written and directed by Miranda Larson (Tom Fletcher’s The Creakers, Milkshake! Live, Fireman Sam Live Show, Christmasurus), Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show is presented by Mark Thompson Productions in association with TG Entertainment Limited and Liz Pichon Limited. See many of Liz Pichon’s beloved characters joining Tom on stage including best pal Derek, grumpy sister Delia, best frenemy Marcus, teacher Mr Fullerman and of course the greatest band ever – DogZombies.

Liz Pichon’s multi-award-winning Tom Gates book series has sold more than 16.5 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 47 languages. The 23 novels, in handwritten font with Tom’s doodles and pictures embellishing the text, document in hilarious detail his everyday trials and tribulations at home and school, immersing readers in a relatable world, wherever they live.
Tom’s world also features in the hugely-successful and award-winning TV spin-off – The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, with the voices of stars including Catherine Tate, Mark Bonnar and Bonnie Langford. All three series, plus Christmas and Halloween specials, are available to view on demand on Sky Kids and Now with selected episodes and clip compilations on YouTube.

Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show launches in April 2025 at The Rose Theatre in Kingston-upon-Thames before embarking on a 45 date tour around the UK.
