US Army sunglasses from Beanstalk
Just in time for the summer season, the U.S. Army brand has licensed SAV Eyewear, provider of sunglasses and eyewear, to create a line of U.S. Army sunglasses. Beanstalk, the U.S. Army’s brand extension licensing agency, brokered the license agreement.
The U.S. Army’s licensing program aims to build positive brand awareness by offering unique products to millions of consumers who want to exhibit their U.S. Army pride and patriotism. With this new line of U.S. Army branded sunglasses, enthusiasts can show off their U.S. Army pride with stylish, fashion-forward eyewear. SAV Eyewear takes eyewear to new heights with style and accessibility by combining today’s fashions with the most advanced optical technology.
“The SAV Eyewear team is very proud to continue a long partnership with the U.S. Army brand, where we have the privilege to distribute to thousands of stores across the country,” remarked Steve Liebers, President and CEO of SAV Eyewear. “This season, we are introducing four new cutting-edge designs aimed at raising the bar for sunglasses by providing exceptional quality at an affordable price. All of our new curved frame designs will be fitted with decentred lenses to ensure maximum optical clarity while reducing unwanted distortion.”
The line of eyewear will be made of plastic and metal frames with shatter-resistant lenses that offer 100% UVA/UVB protection. New sunglass styles featuring the U.S. Army branding are now available online at https://www.saveyewear.com/ and at select grocery, convenience, drug and mass merchandisers at a price point of $19.9.
Since 2004, the U.S. Army Trademark Licensing Program has strategically expanded its brand into more than 100 product categories including apparel, footwear, jewellery, consumer electronics, gifts, collectibles and sporting goods. The program currently consists of over 250 licensees and successfully leverages the values of pride, performance and personal development to build positive brand awareness, while creating multiple touchpoints for consumers. Officially Licensed U.S. Army products are available in more than 50,000 doors across the United States, including major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, and Cracker Barrel, among others. Ultimately, the key objective of the Army’s licensing program is to promote brand awareness through the development of quality licensed products that introduce a modern approach to the U.S. Army brand. By federal law, licensing fees paid to the U.S. Army for the use of its trademarks provide support for the Army Trademark Licensing Program, and net licensing revenue is devoted to U.S. Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs.
