WildBrain CPLG Talks All Things France
WildBrain CPLG’s team in France is locally led by Marketing and Retail Director, Clémentine Goutaine, and continues to secure new partnerships and collaborations across its growing line-up of properties. For the beloved character brand Peanuts, the team has recently secured a new collection on behalf of Peanuts Worldwide with fashion label Cyrillus for a Spring/Summer range. Inspired by Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip, the colourful apparel for children and babies in organic cotton featuring the Peanuts gang spans t-shirts, sweaters, pyjamas, polo shirts, dresses and caps. The collection is now available at Cyrillus’ stores and website.
Also for Peanuts, Parisian fashion brand Sandro is on board for a men’s capsule collection, which celebrates Snoopy and one of his alter egos, Joe Cool, as well as Snoopy’s best friend, Woodstock. Launching in April, the apparel range will include t-shirts, hoodies, a sweatshirt, jersey sweater and leather accessories.
Additionally, fashion label Swildens is launching a new Peanuts capsule collection of three designs, including sweatshirts and t-shirts for women. WildBrain CPLG has also secured a deal with Polyflame for a line of Peanuts beauty and personal care products, including hand gel and soap, which will be available in late April from specialist retailers, as well as pharmacies and drugstores.
For MGM’s iconic Pink Panther brand, WildBrain CPLG has secured a new deal with world-famous brand, Olympia Le-Tan, which re-imagines classic book covers and art and transforms them into bags and accessories. The collection of three embroidered Pink Panther clutches and handbags will be available this August at department and specialist stores as well as Olympia Le Tan’s website.
The WildBrain CPLG France team also continues to add new brands to its representation portfolio and most recently, Ubisoft EMEA has tapped the agency to represent its hit video game franchise Rabbids (‘The Lapins Crétins’) in the market. In a key achievement for the team, WildBrain CPLG’s Licensing Manager for France, Jeanne Balédent, was recently named as the winner of Licensing InternationalFrance’s first ‘Rising Star’ award during a virtual ceremony held in March.
