Winsing Highlights Recent Achievements Across International Content and License Markets
Winsing has concluded a highly productive October, presenting its latest IPs and engaging in meaningful discussions with global partners across ACFM, CLE, and MIP Junior/MIPCOM. Winsing’s diverse lineup, which included Into the Mortal World, MONGO, Shadows of the Void, GG Bond, and GOGOBUS, garnered enthusiastic interest from industry partners, setting the stage for exciting new partnerships in content distribution, merchandise licensing, and toys.
A highlight across all markets was Winsing’s latest animated feature, Into the Mortal World, which captivated industry professionals with its rich blend of fantasy, adventure, and cultural themes. Since its release, the film has achieved widespread acclaim in Mainland China, holding the title of the top-rated Chinese film of the summer, and recently received a nomination for “Best Animated Feature” at the 37th Golden Rooster Awards. Industry partners expressed keen interest in the film’s international distribution and licensing potential, signaling a good demand for extending the film to a wider global market.
Winsing’s lineup also spotlighted its diverse character-driven IPs, particularly MONGO, a non-dialogue slapstick series featuring charming pet characters. Reflecting recent trends in character licensing, MONGO received positive interest for merchandising and licensing in both domestic and international markets. This positive feedback positions MONGO as a promising IP, particularly in character licensing, where global demand for pet-themed and character-centric entertainment remains high.
In parallel, the GG Bond IP demonstrated its versatility as it expanded from a children’s brand to a youth-oriented IP. This extension has been supported by various collectable toy collaborations and successful cross-brand partnerships, catching the attention of international buyers interested in fresh, innovative approaches to character licensing.
Meanwhile, the new GOGOBUS Mars Trip series has gained strong attention, amassing millions of views on the official Chinese YouTube channel. The series’ innovative toy lines, which closely combine with the animation, have attracted significant attention from international buyers looking for new plastic toys for the kids’ market.
Following, Winsing Animation will continue its international outreach by participating in the ATF this December. Winsing looks forward to building on its recent accomplishments, with plans to further engage partners in the global market.
