The Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) Board of Directors is proud to announce pivotal developments, including new leadership and board enhancements, as it positions itself for strategic growth in 2025 and beyond.

WiT is where ideas become opportunities. By bringing together resources, connections, and expertise, the organization empowers women within the entire business value chain. With new leadership at the helm, our united community of women and men will continue to fuel growth, spark innovation, and transform the marketplace on a global scale.

Leadership Confirmations

WiT is pleased to welcome two pivotal appointments to its leadership:

Angelina Castro, formerly Interim Executive Director, has been named Executive Director. Her strategic leadership and commitment to WiT’s mission and programming have strengthened the organization’s ability to deliver impactful initiatives.

Janice Ross assumes the role of Business Development Advisor, where she will focus on building robust partnerships and diversifying revenue streams to ensure long-term sustainability.

Welcoming Board Members

In addition to the new staff positions, WiT’s Board of Directors will be enriched by two outstanding new members:

Kristin Lecour, Vice President, Consumer Products and Canadian Distribution, 9 Story Media Group. Lecour will begin her second term as a board member and continues as the Co-Chair of the WiT Foundation’s Scholarship Committee.

Their combined expertise and shared dedication to WiT’s vision will propel the organization’s strategic growth and further its mission to empower women worldwide.

“WiT is entering a new era of strategic growth,” said Ehi Oviasu-Kahn, Chairwoman of the Board. “Our newly appointed leadership team and dynamic board members position us to deliver even greater impact in our industry. Together, we’re building momentum and
