Wow! Stuff Wins Hero Toys Award at London Toy Fair

Toy innovation company Wow! Stuff has got off to a strong 2022 winning a much coveted Hero Toys Award at the London Toy Fair on the opening day of the show.

Kenny McAndrew, co-founder and head of licensing, Wow! Stuff was delighted to receive the award commenting, “It’s great to be back at London Toy Fair and seeing friends in our industry face to face after such a tumultuous time for all of us. And what a way to commemorate our return to London Toy fair with a win on opening day for one of our new 2022 innovations in Peppa Pig!”.

Winner of a Toy Fair’s Hero Toys 2022 award, children who love Peppa Pig can now learn their up from their down and their right from their left with the innovative, tech-laden, new Peppa Pig Clever Plane. Using on board commentary and with the aid of accelerometers hear the pilot, Miss Rabbit, announcing “We’re flying higher Peppa!”,  “We’re turning left Peppa!”, “Weeeee, we landed on the ground” and many more fun and educational comments. Miss Rabbit pilots the plane with toddlers guidance as they whizz it through the air using the carry handle. Lights, sounds and electronic wizardry (accelerometers!) bring the Clever Plane to life for immersive, fun interaction.

Additionally London Toy Fair will see the company launch several ‘blockbuster toys’ according to Wow! Stuff’s SVP Dawn Lavalette, “This is our biggest launch ever and while we have 3 blockbusters to announce, 1 of them is under a strict confidentiality due to licensor embargoes. So, we can show it in secret but not to the public until later. It’s going to be huge and has the licensor global support to be their halo line alongside the movie”.

As well as the Blockbuster items Wow! Stuff will reveal a host of new lines in leading tier 1 brands from CoComelon, Peppa Pig, The Wizarding World/Harry Potter, Jurassic World plus “huge extensions” to their number 1 best Selling line of Bobble-head collectables, WOW! PODS.
